Duren is located in the western corner of Germany close to the Netherlands and Belgium, centrally between Cologne and Aachen. The fertile „Jülicher Börde“ is situated northwards and in the South you can find the famous recreation area “Eifel” - a realy long list of sights and destinations....

The month of May is traditionally the beginning of the Open Air season and it starts as usual with the "Maimarkt & Maikirmes" on the "Annakirmesplatz" - on the long week-end between April, 30th and May, 3rd 2026.

The second Wednesday of each month is reserved - until the month of October - for the "Schlemmermarkt", which became a fix factor in the yearly market calendar in the city.

On the large trade fair grounds we are facing the next highlights: in Dusseldorf one of the biggest trade fairs of the packaging indusrty - the INTERPACK - is taking place and in Cologne the ANGACOM invites all visitors who want to be up to date in terms of broadband, media and connectivity.....

The operating hours from Monday to Thursday are: reception and kitchen open until 8 pm - on the week-ends (Friday to Sunday) there are variances depending on the season.
In case your arrival time is after 8 pm during the week (Monday to Thursday) or at any time on one of the week-end days (Friday to Sunday), we would appreciate if you get in touch with us upfront in order to explain the procedure and to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Excluded from the above are the periods of hotel and / or restaurant holidays.
