Duren is located in the western corner of Germany close to the Netherlands and Belgium, centrally between Cologne and Aachen. The fertile „Jülicher Börde“ is situated northwards and in the South you can find the famous recreation area “Eifel” - a realy long list of sights and destinations....

The Calendar in July and August is filled with events - on July, 25th 2026 the "Annakirmes" is back again and will be the host for nine days for everybody who likes to be on fairgrounds.

World-Class sports can be watched in Aachen during the World Equestrian Games, taking place between August, 11th and August, 23rd 2026, where only the best of the best are heading up.

And if you like to party: the Nibirii-Festival at the "Lake Duren" is a fix appointment every year. On the last weekend in August the fans of electronic music are meeting there in order to celebrate life.....

The operating hours from Monday to Thursday are: reception and kitchen open until 8 pm - on the week-ends (Friday to Sunday) there are variances depending on the season.
In case your arrival time is after 8 pm during the week (Monday to Thursday) or at any time on one of the week-end days (Friday to Sunday), we would appreciate if you get in touch with us upfront in order to explain the procedure and to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Excluded from the above are the periods of hotel and / or restaurant holidays.
